  • While we are playing detective, I looked at the 1930 census. There were Barries in LA and other areas of California, and some were born of Scottish parents. One was a registered nurse for private patients. She could have attended at stillbirths and miscarriages.

  • It is sad, but I have been in work situations where the management was capable of trumping up a charge of stealing just to get rid of someone that was a thorn in their sides, but a good worker otherwise.

  • If more of us are going to let our gray show, the make-up companies better bring back the gray eyebrow pencils that they discontinued in the last few years. It is like slapping older women in the face and telling us that we don't matter. No, eyeliner pencils do not make acceptable eyebrow pencils.
